Results of the first Calls for project proposals under the Social Dialogue and Decent Work Programme

Innovation Norway, Fund Operator of the Social Dialog – Decent Work Programme, published the results of the first calls.

The First Calls for project proposals of the Social Dialogue and Decent Work Programme were closed on 7 February 2019 and 61 applications were received. The total grant amount applied for in 11 countries was approximately Euro 9,8 million out of 10,6 million available. 44 projects have been shortlisted and signed project contracts with a total grant of Euro 5,9 million.

Decent work for all

In Slovenia, project Decent Work for All is being implemented by the Employment Service of Slovenia in cooperation with the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia, Institute for the Development of Social Responsibility – IRDO and the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration (NAV Norge). For a project worth EUR 105,070.00, 82.1% of the funding is provided by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.

The aim of the project is to raise awareness on decent work among the general public in Slovenia and to do training of employers, social partners staff and public servants on the different decent work issues. Trainings, a conference and a media campaign for promotion and raising awareness of decent work are planned. Furthermore, the Duo day concept to support employment of the long-term unemployed will be developed and expertise and good practices from Norway will be transferred and implemented.

Second call for proposals under the Social Dialog – Decent Work programme

Innovation Norway, Fund Operator of the Social Dialog – Decent Work Programme, published second call for proposals for Slovenia, worth EUR 86,330. Application deadline is 1 October 2020, at 13.00 Slovenian time. Call for proposals is published on the official webpage of the Social Dialog – Decent Work Programme.
