Programme Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation

The projects that will be selected through the Call for proposals will be implemented under the programme Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation. Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy acting as the Programme Operator for the Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation programme published the Call for proposals for co-financing of projects on 14 May 2021 in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 74/2021. The subject of the Call for Proposal is the selection of projects to be co-financed under the EEA or Norway Grants 2014–2021 that will also receive matching national co-financing from Slovenia. The total amount available under this Call for Proposals is EUR 15,564,705.88.

The aim of the Call for Proposals is to support measures to mitigate climate change and reduce climate change vulnerability. Projects must contribute to the following outcomes:

  • Outcome B.1: Increased renewable energy production
  • Outcome B.2: Enhanced sustainable mobility management
  • Outcome B.3: Increased application of circular economy principles
  • Outcome B.4: Improved management of ecosystems under climate change pressure

The deadline for submitting applications was 30 September 2021. The selection results should be made public approximately 6 months after the final date for submission
of the applications.

Programme Education, Scholarships, Apprenticeship and Youth Entrepreneurship

Two pre-defined projects are already being implemented under the programme Education, Scholarships, Apprenticeship and Youth Entrepreneurship. In addition, the projects that will be selected through the Call for proposals will also be implemented under the programme. Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy acting as the Programme Operator for the Education, Scholarships, Apprenticeship and Youth Entrepreneurship published the Call for proposals for co-financing of projects on 14 May 2021 in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 74/2021. The subject of the Call for Proposal is the selection of projects to be co-financed under the Norway Grants 2014–2021 that will also receive matching national co-financing from Slovenia. The total amount available under this Call for Proposals is EUR 11,299,156.00.

The aim of the Call for Proposals is to support measures to improve skills, competencies and knowledge. Projects must contribute to the following outcomes:

  • Outcome I.1: Improved institutional cooperation at all levels of education (formal and informal)
  • Outcome I.2: Education and social environment to support disadvantaged groups improved
  • Outcome I.3: Improved work-life balance

The deadline for submitting applications was 30 September 2021. The selection results should be made public approximately 6 months after the final date for submission of the applications.
