Active Citizens Fund public call for institutional support

Deadline: 12. June 2021 until 12:00 (noon)

Financial support (up to 20.000 EUR per project) of this Active Citizens Fund call is aimed only at project proposals of organisations with less than 50.000 EUR annual turnover, addressing at least one of the programme priority fields: democracy, human rights including gender equality, social justice and climate change. Most of the budget of this call will be dedicated to projects of organisations working in under-served areas.

Available indicative budget: EUR 358,500

Requested contribution of ACF funding: between 5,000 EUR and 20,000 EUR

Project maximum funding rate: 100% of eligible expenditure.

Project duration: at least 6 and at most 12 months.

Eligible applicants for this call: only organisations with less than 50.000 EUR annual turnover (2018-2020); 70% of the budget of this call shall be dedicated to projects of organisations working in under-served areas.

Deadlines for submission of project proposals:

  • Submission of concept notes: 12. 7. 2021 at noon (Slovenian time)
  • Anticipated deadline for submission of full project proposals: 15. 10. 2021 (or 1 month after applicants receive invitations to proceed with preparation and submission of full project proposals)

Each organisation is allowed to submit only one project proposal to this call. There are, however, no limitations as to the number of project proposals in which an organisation is in a partner role.
