Project summary:

The analysis of online education in Slovenia showed that education is not supported by appropriate teaching models, which causes great stress, both for teachers (lack of digital competences, challenges in testing, non-standardized teaching tools) and students (lack of appropriate materials and soft skills, inability to monitor progress). This is the result of the sudden demand for a complete transformation of teaching practice and the use of technology for online learning. On average, teachers agreed that they are not skilled in digital teaching. The project develops new teaching and learning practices, with an emphasis on the digital transformation of education and on the basis of a needs analysis carried out as part of institutional cooperation, and raises the skills and competences of professional teachers. The effects are achieved by establishing a digital learning environment, developing digital tools and materials for digital teaching and training teachers of professional programmes.
