26 August 2025 – The National Focal Point for the EEA and Norway Grants invites you to a presentation event entitled Cooperation that Creates Change – Achievements of the Grants 2014–2021, which will highlight the key achievements of the Grants in the concluding programming period.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 27 August 2025, at 10 a.m., at the Kazina Jazz Club in Ljubljana.
The event will feature two round tables, where representatives of the relevant institutions and project implementers will present the key achievements and results of the Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation programme, Education, Scholarships, Apprenticeship and Youth Entrepreneurship programme, and the Active Citizens Fund. In addition, the round tables will provide an opportunity for open discussion on the upcoming programming period and opportunities for cooperation.
The programme will begin with an introductory address by the State Secretary responsible for cohesion, mag. Marko Koprivc. This will be followed by cultural performances and two round tables with the participation of representatives of state and public institutions, non-governmental organisations, and the Financial Mechanism Office in Brussels.
The first-round table will focus on the programme aspects of the EEA and Norway Grants, while the second will offer an in-depth review of successful projects, including studioKroG, SmartMOVE, INFO-GEOTHERMAL, PreseNEETi SE, Barnahus, and BlendVET. Emphasis will also be placed on bilateral cooperation between Slovenia and donor countries. Cooperation with Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein has given us access to best practices and experiences, while also opening the door to long-term partnerships that continue even after the projects have ended.
The event will conclude with a tour of selected project stands, followed by a closing discussion that will provide an opportunity for further collaboration and the exchange of experiences.
