Programi

General information

In addition to reducing disparities within the European Economic Area, the funds available under the Norwegian and EEA Financial Mechanism also contribute to strengthening bilateral relations between the Donor States and 15 Beneficiary States. Bilateral cooperation is established at several levels, namely as a political dialogue between Norway, Lichtenstein and Iceland, and the EU, as bilateral meeting between Donor States and Beneficiary States and as cooperation in specific fields (cooperation on the ground). Sharing knowledge and experiences brings benefits to both the Donor and the Beneficiary State. Bilateral cooperation at programme and project level and the general recognition of the mechanisms result in raised awareness about the mechanisms in the Member States.
